CONSTIPATION TRIGGERS OTHER DISORDERS

Constipation – which triggers immediate disorders like a bloated tummy, fatigue or headache – is not only a disorder in itself. But especially because of its long-term consequences, given that it provokes disorders of all types due to intestinal self-intoxication, it worsens as time goes on, and may affect the organs that are not part of the digestive tract. A RADICAL CURE FOR CONSTIPATION: THE MAYR THERAPY

According to me, the radical and definitive cure for constipation, and therefore of its consequences, is the Mayr Therapy, which aims to let the intestines rest for about two months. It involves four techniques: a personalized diet, a special abdominal massage, drinking sulphated waters and suitable physiotherapy. In this site, however, I have not given the details of the Mayr Therapy – which is rather complex and is a specialized field – but some general advice to those suffering from constipation while waiting to do the Mayr Therapy, to avoid a rapid worsening of constipation and its consequences. Those who wish to have further personalized advice can write me an email, describing the history of their disorders, and I shall try to answer, of course with no obligation on their part.

So here are my first suggestions. Do not absolutely take any laxatives, whether chemical or natural, and do not eat tons of fruit, vegetables and whole grains since too much fibers act as a “natural laxative,” with all the unpleasant consequences of laxatives. Also do not do any clysters (clysters or enemas, transanal irrigation, suppositories, microclysters) that irritate or dilate the colon. In fact, those suffering from constipation know that this is not the approach to really being healthy: these methods may help to momentarily move your bowels, but do not eliminate the growing disorders triggered by constipation. Furthermore, there is always the onset of habituation: to achieve an effect, one has to continually increase the dose not only of the laxative, but also of the vegetables or clysters, up to the point in which the consequential diseases provoked by constipation become very serious.

I can also give some positive advice such as taking short walks during the day in peaceful places, and drinking a big glass of pure water, and  doing the yoga exercise called “half-candle” (extending your legs upwards with the shoulders on the ground) upon waking up in the morning. These are certainly healthy palliative means that have the advantage of not minimally harming one’s health. However, they do not resolve the real cause of constipation, which is intestinal fatigue. And to resolve it until your old age, there is only one means: letting your intestines rest with a good Mayr Therapy!
