GASTROESOPHAGEAL REFLUX STARTS FROM THE INTESTINES!

One of the best treatments for gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) – which as we know provokes heartburn, difficulty in swallowing, spitting up, acidity – is the Mayr Therapy. This cure is not only the best “intestinal therapy,” but the best also for the entire digestive system and particularly the stomach and esophagus, which are two tracts of the digestive tube immediately preceding the intestines. In fact, if the intestines start to malfunction, the first organ that will be affected is the stomach, and immediately after, the esophagus. If the intestines break down, sooner or later also the stomach and then esophagus will follow. A FIRST TIP: SKIP DINNER!

My first advice is to completely skip dinner for two weeks. In fact, in skipping dinner the stomach has the time to completely empty out what you ate at lunchtime, and so the night disorders you suffered will surely improve. Obviously, in the two weeks during which you skip dinner, you must have a rather hearty breakfast, since only one meal a day will not suffice for most people.

A SECOND SUGGESTION: SMALL AND WELL CHEWED MOUTHFULS!

The second advice is: take care to chew properly. The smaller the amounts and the longer you chew, the better it is. You will have to introduce, for the first time in your life, a new dietary culture. The food must not be swallowed in three seconds like before, but savored, turned around in your mouth, and completely liquefied before you swallow it. Remember the yogi guru saying: “drink in the solid foods, and chew the liquid ones!” Liquid foods obviously stand for milk and fruit juices, that must not be drunk in one gulp,” but sipped, the way we do with wine.

After having followed these two tips which are like golden rules, and having been convinced that to heal from gastroesophageal reflux, the path is to learn how to manage your eating habits, prepare yourselves for a Mayr Therapy that will make you take another two or three steps towards healing.
