THE DIGESTIVE AILMENTS
Digestive ailments, more exactly ailments of the digestive apparatus, is a general appellation that covers at least one hundred diseases. Hardly you will find in another part of medical pathology such an enormous number of diseases as in gastroenterology, and hardly you will find a person that has never complained in his life of one of these troubles. Only to list the most common of them I’d need many lines of this page. Firstly I’ll list some of the most common symptoms and manifestations: obstipation, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, dyspepsia, dysphagia, gross and occult gastrointestinal bleeding, abdominal pain, unexplained noncardiac chest pain, unintentional weight loss, eating disorders, gas and bloating, jaundice, abnormal liver chemistry, ascites, liver mass, many oral manifestations of gastrointestinal diseases, frequent skin lesions associated with gastrointestinal and liver diseases. I’ll try then to specify some of the most common very diseases of the digestive apparatus: oropharingeal swallowing disorders (dysphagia), achalasia and spastic disorders of the esophagus, gastroesophageal reflux disease, esophageal infections, delayed gastric empting (gastroparesis), functional dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease (duodenal and gastric ulcers), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, gastritis, gastrophaties, hiatal hernias, small intestinal dysmotility (chronic small intestinal pseudoobstruction), colonic dysmotility, megacolon, traveler’s diarrhea, small intestine infections, celiac disease, food intolerances, malabsorpion, bacterial overgrowth, enterocolitis. In this site you’ll find only the digestive symptoms, manifestations and diseases which can be improved by the Mayr Therapy.
SEEMINGLY NOT DIGESTIVE AILMENTS, WHICH CAN BE IMPROVED BY THE MAYR THERAPY
In this site you will find also some seemingly not digestive ailments. They are just the ones that Dr. Franz Xaver Mayr hypothesized beeing caused by intestinal self-intoxication, and therefore suitable to be cured by his therapy.
